It was my late father who left his love of cooking strong in my being, I grew up watching and learning as he created unique and excuisite flavors. Now as a father of five myself, it is my passion to create and share my own recipes.
Born and Raised Alaskan, I have been working on most of these blends since I was a kid. In college, friends encouraged me to add flavor to our dull dorm room meals. As I aged, I continued to carry my own spice blends everywhere I went, sometimes offending others by spicing up my food, until they tried it that is. It soon became normal for me to share my spice blends with friends and family. A couple years ago when an unfortunate car accident laid me up for a year, I found myself unable to provide for my family, that was when I finally decided to take my spice blend hobby to the next level. The Mad Platter was Born.
